How to reach us
Come find us in the heart of Sicily.
- Check-in is on Mondays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Check-out is no later than 10:00 am on Friday or Saturday.
- For Lunch Lessons, please plan to arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 am.
Please know that The School is in rural Sicily. Both Catania and Palermo airports are about 2 hours from the school by car. Below we describe the transportation options to get to us, but you will have access to a fully detailed explanation once you book your stay.
By Train
We can arrange a shared shuttle to/from Roccapalumba-Alia station for arrival and departure. This service is included for all Signature Stays and Workshops but guests are responsible for the purchase of their own train tickets.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Arrival on Monday: The train departs Palermo Centrale at 3:43 pm, arriving at Roccapalumba-Alia station at 4:42 pm. The shuttle will be waiting upon your arrival.
Departure on Friday/Saturday: the shuttle departs from The School to Roccapalumba-Alia train station at 10:00 am in order to catch the 11:17 am train to Palermo.
Private Transport
We highly suggest using our local transportation company to arrange private transport to The School. Upon booking we will share their contact information and you can directly arrange your arrival and departure to if you’d like.

Renting a car
Please use only Google Maps in tandem with our directions below. We do not recommend using satellite navigation systems. Below are the routes we suggest from either Palermo or Catania.
