Fabrizia will travel to California in November

to present at the Culinary Institute of America’s Worlds of Flavor conference. She’ll be presenting her documentary, Amaro, to the culinary students of the CIA and speaking on panels with other renowned chefs about Mediterranean food culture. If you happen to be attending the conference, please check the program for Fabrizia’s events. 
 
After the conference, she will be hosting a series of events in the Napa, Sonoma, Toluma, and San Francisco areas. Find her schedule below!
In honor of Fabrizia, The Valley Bar + Bottle  will be doing a Sicilian alla carte menu take over. Make reservations at any time and have a chance to meet Fabrizia and share in some Sicilian delights in Sonoma.

This late lunch will offer an intimate taste of The Food of Sicily, with recipes from Fabrizia’s book brought to life alongside local California ingredients. At Toluma Farms, guests will enjoy a relaxed meal and a chance to hear Fabrizia share stories of the Anna Tasca Lanza School and Cook the Farm, deepening the conversation between Sicilian and Californian food cultures.

This gathering with Proof Collective will be an intimate, convivial evening celebrating Sicilian food and the spirit of community that defines Fabrizia’s work. With dishes prepared by members, wine shared among friends, and stories of Cook the Farm and the ATL Foundation, it will be a heartfelt exchange of food, culture, and conversation.

This event offers Fabrizia’s audience a rare chance to hear her in conversation with Alice Waters, exploring themes central to Fabrizia’s work: Sicilian food, education, and cultural memory. Attendees will not only gain insight into The Food of Sicily and the school-lunch revolution, but also deepen their connection to the philosophy and storytelling Fabrizia brings to her community.
