Planned activities and schedules may change at short notice due to seasonal rhythms of life in Sicily.

Accommodation at Case Vecchie or one of the nearby cottages, shuttle from/to Roccapalumba train station, indicated lessons, meals, wine and excursions.

Lunch and dinner are served with wines from the Tasca d’Almerita estate. Typical meals and cooking lessons include three or four courses.

Unfortunately we cannot host people with celiac disease or a vegan diet. This is due to the lack of availability of special ingredients in our rural and isolated location.

Airfare and private transportation to and from Case Vecchie are not included in the cost. At the time of booking, please let us know if you would like to book a ride to and from the estate.

Come to Sicily and cook with more beans and pulses than you ever thought possible. Claire Thomson is the author of 12 cookery books and her latest is called One Pan Beans and Pulses. Joining her at ATL cookery school is author of bestselling “Bold Beans”, the cookbook and founder of Bold Bean Co, – the brand on a mission to make you bean obsessed – Amelia Christie Miller. Together, Claire and Amelia are a force of knowledge and cookery skill, you can expect to learn lots of new recipes and revel in an ingredient that is as essential for our food future, our culinary past, and health as it is completely delicious. For the week of cookery we will look and cook from bean and pulse eating countries the world over in the gorgeous, cool kitchen of ATL cookery school.
