Towards Case Vecchie
Please know that Case Vecchie is in rural Sicily. Both Catania and Palermo airports are about 2.5 hours from the school by car. There is access to nearby train stations. Please know that if you plan to rent a car and arrive independently, the roads can be difficult to navigate, are often under construction or poorly maintained.
Check-in is on Mondays from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
For Group Lunch Lessons, plan to arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 am.
Renting a car
Please use only Google Maps in tandem with our directions below. We do not recommend using satellite navigation systems. Printable directions below.
Private Transport
We highly suggest using our local transportation company to arrange private transport to the school. We will share their contact information and you can directly arrange your arrival and departure to Case Vecchie if you’d like. Outside car companies are not always familiar with our rural roads!

Palermo center – 2 hours
Catania center – 2 hours
Palermo airport - 2.5 hours
Catania airport - 2.5 hours
Taormina – 2.5 - 3 hours
Agrigento – 1.5 hours
Modica – 3 hours
Cefalu – 1.5 - 2 hours
By Train
Check in on Monday: Pick-up from the Roccapalumba-Alia station (45 minutes away) is included for Signature Stays and workshops at 4:42 pm on Monday. (Departure from Palermo Centrale 3:43 pm or from Catania Centrale at 1:35 pm.)
Check out on Friday or Saturday: Drop off at the Roccapalumba-Alia station is included for Signature Stays and workshops at 10:00 am from school in order to catch the 11:17 am train to Palermo.
You may arrange private pick-up or drop-off from the Roccapalumba-Alia train station at other times with our local transportation company. Please enquire at booking.
