Gardens
Rich in beauty and production, ornamental and vegetable gardens of Case Vecchie are the result of many years of research and care. Cultivated using organic methods and with species native to the area, the gardens sustaining our kitchen and our senses throughout the year.
Pool
An infinity pool overlooks lines of delicious vegetables and offers you a perfect place of peace on hot days.
Vineyard walks
Walking trails criss-cross through the vineyard for those who like to get out and about after a full day in the kitchen.
Please note wifi is available on the premises but with varying strength and reliability. We encourage guests to reconnect with their natural surroundings, or pre-purchase cellular data plans to navigate with more flexibility and speed.
Case Vecchie
Perched on a working vineyard and surrounded by cultivated land, the 19th-century farmhouse Case Vecchie is near to nowhere. Its remote location makes for stunning panoramas and a certain stillness, allowing guests to embrace each changing moment. Surrounding an open courtyard are the guest rooms and kitchen. Walking trails cut through vines that parade a rainbow of colors with the changing seasons. In warmer months, a peaceful pool invites you to cool off and chill out. When rain rages, cozy up with a good book from our extensive food-focused and place-based library.
Case Vecchie
The home of Anna Tasca Lanza, Case Vecchie is where all meals and cooking lessons take place. The rooms at Case Vecchie are rustic and charming, furnished with pieces from the original estate. The rooms are an extension of the home, not a hotel, and each room has its own bathroom although not directly ensuite. Several rooms have sweeping views of the vineyard and gardens from their signature blue shuttered windows. Rooms are equipped with two single beds or a double bed and are assigned according to availability.
Casa Costanza
In the middle of the estate, five kilometers from Case Vecchie, perches Casa Costanza. This sweet little house with a stunning view among the vines has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all with traditional Sicilian furniture and linens. We will organize your rides to and from Case Vecchie for all lessons and meals. Rooms are assigned according to availability, but if you are interested in one of the cottages for a group please let us know at booking.
Donna Rosemarie
Casa Rosemarie is five kilometers from the school, a little house overlooking the vineyards near the main building of Tasca d’Almerita winery. There are three bedrooms: one room with two twin beds and an ensuite bathroom, one room with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, and one room with a queen bed and the bathroom down the hall. We will organize your rides to and from Case Vecchie for all lessons and meals. Rooms are assigned according to availability, but if you are interested in one of the cottages for a group please let us know at booking.
Case Grandi
Case Grandi is the site of the Tasca d’Almerita winery and the estate’s main complex five kilometers from Case Vecchie. With a view over the entire valley, there are seven deluxe double rooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom. Please inquire about this accommodation option as rates are higher.
