At Case Vecchie, we celebrate the connection between cooking and farming. There is a natural loop between nurturing the land and preparing and sharing a good meal together, and the Anna Tasca Lanza Experience teaches a true f‘arm’-to-table ethos. We believe guests should feel just as at home in the garden as in the kitchen, and our ingredients are locally sourced, primarily from the estate.

In our courses, you’ll learn the story of a meal from seed to soil to spoon.  Our cooking lessons go beyond simply teaching techniques and ingredients, offering a comprehensive look at the history, anthropology, and traditions behind each dish.

 

Taking a journey through our island’s landscape of food means discovering the thousand Sicilies that have developed under millennia of Italian, Spanish, Greek, North African, and Arab influence.

We are less interested in “inventing” new recipes than in finding and sharing the rich diversity of flavours from this true culinary continent. With our Natura in Tasca line, we celebrate the time-honored traditions of local farmers and producers by offering the finest homemade Sicilian products for your table and home.
